The RTI churches in Zimbabwe with some assistance from their churches in Mozambique had started the funding programme to build the school. As time passed the economy in Zimbabwe went from bad to worse. Local funding from businesses - the normal way of getting additional funding - produced nothing. A visitor from the UK made Aid2Africa.co.uk aware of the project and they were able to help fund the work on the classrooms and the temporary toilet. They are a small charity and cannot raise the funds needed to complete the school building project in the timescale both they and the church would like. Please consider giving generously to the building fund either directly to RTI or through Aid2Africa.co.uk. You will find a link on the "Partners" page to their site. All money given for Beulah Heights project to A2A will be directed to the next part of the work school building project. The project needs at least £10000 for the work planned for 2009-2010 financial year.

The school wants to develop its curriculum to include a wide range of subjects at both GCE O and A level. This will take time, funds and commitment from the teachers.
The seed has been planted and we look forward to seeing it grow into a mighty tree in the community it serves. There is a sense of purpose that cannot be extinguished by the political problems that face Zimbabwe
